Roleplay events
Roleplay events are scheduled through syncshells and displayed in the Roleplay agenda. They can be private to existing members or published so eligible players can discover and join the hosting syncshell.
Finding events
Open Roleplay > Events.
Search by title or description, theme tags, and content rating. The agenda combines:
- active and upcoming events from your syncshells;
- public syncshell events;
- active venue advertisements.
Recurring series appear as one card with a cadence such as Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Every 2 weeks.
Event actions
Depending on the event, you can:
- enable Remind me;
- select Copy iCalendar and paste the event into a calendar application;
- open the event list for a syncshell you already belong to;
- select Join syncshell for an eligible public event;
- report the event or block its owner.
Public event joining still respects syncshell capacity, invitation settings, Adult-content rules, and blocks. A listing may become unavailable between loading it and selecting Join.
Creating events
Syncshell owners and moderators can open a syncshell's administration window and select Events. The event editor supports:
- title and description;
- local start date and time;
- duration;
- plot or location and world;
- hosts;
- theme tags;
- content warnings;
- attendance limit;
- built-in reminder;
- 720×300 PNG banner;
- General, Mature, or Adult rating;
- public RP-directory listing;
- daily, weekly, or monthly recurrence;
- recurrence interval, selected weekdays, end date, or occurrence count.
Dates are entered in your local time and stored as UTC.
Enabling Public RP directory listing allows eligible viewers to join the hosting syncshell without its password. Only publish an event when that is the intended access model.
Reminders
The built-in reminder is a Snowcloak reminder for event attendees. Individual users can also toggle Remind me from the agenda.
Venue-event bookmarks are local to your client and are managed in the Venues window. See Venues and venue events.
Discord digest
Syncshell administrators can configure a Daily Discord digest with:
- an enabled switch;
- a Discord webhook URL;
- a delivery hour and minute in UTC.
The digest summarises upcoming events. The configured time is explicitly UTC, so account for daylight-saving changes when choosing it.
