Roleplay tools

Snowcloak's Roleplay window combines temporary availability, character discovery, public RP rooms, events, reminders, and safety controls.

Before you begin​

Roleplay requires:

  • Frostbrand to be enabled;
  • a published profile for the current character;
  • a connected server that supports the Roleplay features.

Publishing a profile and enabling Frostbrand do not list you in RP discovery automatically. Directory listing is a separate consent setting under My availability.

The four tabs​

My availability​

Publish a temporary card describing whether you are open to walk-ups, seeking hooks, in a scene, OOC, AFK, or closed. Choose who can see it, how long it lasts, relevant themes, and an optional current hook.

People​

Search public profiles by text, tag category, tag values, RP status, approachability, content rating, boundaries, availability state, and theme.

From a result you can:

  • view the full public profile;
  • register interest and optionally attach one of your current hooks;
  • open a direct message when already paired;
  • report the profile or block its owner.

Rooms​

Search RP-listed rooms by text, tags, content rating, or whether a scene is active. A room card can include its topic, banner, scene title, setting, warnings, tags, and member count.

Select Join and open to join the room and open its Snowcloak conversation.

Events​

The RP agenda combines public syncshell events, events from syncshells you have joined, and active venue advertisements. You can set reminders, copy iCalendar data, open a joined syncshell's event list, or join an eligible event syncshell directly.

Adult content​

Adult-rated profiles, rooms, events, and kink-tag matching use a per-UID opt-in. Change it under Settings → Interface → Safety and Content.

Adult content is only shared when the required participants have explicitly opted in. The setting does not bypass field visibility, pairing rules, blocking, content warnings, or room access.

Reporting and blocking​

People, room, and event cards include Report / block. Reports require a reason and may optionally block the owner.

Blocking removes that UID from RP discovery and invitations, prevents future direct pair requests and direct messages, and removes an existing direct pairing. Shared syncshell appearance syncing is not removed by the block.

Blocked UIDs appear in the collapsible blocked-users section on the People tab and under Settings → Interface → Safety and Content, where they can be unblocked.
