Frostbrand
Because asking for WiFi passwords is lame.
What is Frostbrand
Frostbrand is an opt-in system that allows you to see nearby players who are also opted in, and send them a pair request directly if you're interested.
Enabling Frostbrand
To enable Frostbrand, open the main window and go to the tab. Hit the checkbox, and read the warning. After confirming, Frostbrand will be enabled!

Filters
Before using Frostbrand, you should listen to what the warning said and set up some filters. In the Frostbrand tab, hit the settings button.
Filters act as a sort of "screening" mechanism for inbound pair requests. If a user matches one of your filters, the request will automatically be rejected without intervention from you. This way, you don't have to deal with people who you're not up for syncing with.
There are four types of filters currently available. The first two are relatively simple:

The friends only checkbox will auto-reject requests from anyone who isn't a friend. The level filter will automatically reject anyone below a specified level at the time of sending the request.
The other filters are a bit more advanced.

The third filter lets you reject by gender and clan. If, for example, you don't want to interact with male Viera, simply check those two boxes - Snowcloak will automatically reject pair requests from them on your behalf. In the event a pair request is received and the user is out of render distance, Snowcloak will send the request to the pending section, and automatically re-check the user once they're in range.
The final filter is a homeworld filter, which will filter by homeworld.
Using Frostbrand
When enabled, Frostbrand shows an icon in the top right of your screen, next to your current world. If users are in range, it'll show you:

Here, in order from left to right, we have the Wholist icon (an unaffiliated plugin), the main Snowcloak icon showing in-range paired users, and Frostbrand's icon, showing nearby users who are open to pairing.
Frostbrand users you're not paired with will have their names highlighted. You can adjust the highlight colour. You can also hover your mouse over the icon to see their names, or click it to see the following window:

This window - as well as the icon's hover text and number - automatically exclude users matching your filters.
You can right-click users in the window to open a menu allowing you to examine them, view their adventurer plate, view their public Snowcloak profile, or send a pair request.
Pair Requests
When you get a pair request, the Frostbrand icon at the top will turn a nice, frosty shade of blue. To see the request, open the Snowcloak window and navigate to the Frostbrand tab, which will show you who sent it. From here, you can accept or reject the request.
Filters are client side - even if someone would be filtered, they'll still be able to see you're oped in to Frostbrand.
By default, the filters will reject anyone below Level 15. You're free to set the filters to whatever you want!
